Culture Network (November 2025)

Action Plan: Establish a Cultural Network

Following on from our previous events in Poole and Bournemouth, we’re delighted to be coming to Christchurch to organise a speed-dating night (for creatives and organisations) at The Kings Arms hotel.

On arrival, you’ll receive a free drink and be welcomed by members of our Task Group. Those taking part in the speed-dating will be able to talk to someone for four minutes at a time, but please bring a piece of your own work – a drawing, a photograph, a script, manifesto, season brochure, anything you can carry into the Kings Arms – to talk about.

Tickets are free. We’re also able to pay 10 freelancers £26 each to attend, via an anonymous ballot. For more details, and to enter (deadline 27th October 9am ), click here: https://forms.gle/7DQ1kXd4nFJoNwK7A.

We’re very excited to be introducing more artists and organisations (of various artistic backgrounds) across the conurbation. We’ve already heard great things about how some of these connections have opened up conversations and opportunities.

This event will take place alongside our Environmental Sustainability conversations, hosted at Pavilion Dance and Poole Lighthouse throughout the Autumn. You should also save the date of Wednesday 28th January, as we’ll be leading an event at The Old School House in Boscombe.
