Culture network

Action Plan: Establish a Culture Network.

The Cultural Compact launched our Culture Network at the end of March, welcoming over sixty attendees to an informative networking event at FOUNDRY Poole.

Organised to benefit those working in the arts/creative industries across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, we were thrilled to connect a variety of artists and local organisations, as well as introducing the Compact and our plans for the next two years. Alongside speeches from Andy Martin, Helen Keall, Natasha Player, and Kate Wood, there was also entertainment from Working Boys Club’s Serving Sounds, plus complimentary drinks and nibbles.

Following the event, the Compact received positive feedback from a number of attendees, with comments including:

“The format was excellent. Thank you for a fun and interesting night!”

“Thank you for providing the opportunity to network and share with others. Invaluable to bring people together.”

“An all round excellent event and such a brilliant way to connect with other likeminded people. whether that be for business purposes or just building friendships. I enjoyed it massively and will certainly be returning for the next event.”

Speaking of which, we’re already hard at work organising our next Culture Network event, scheduled for 3rd July in Bournemouth Town Centre. More details to be revealed soon!
