Activate Performing Arts (Inside Out Dorset)

Activate promotes, supports and produces performing arts projects in communities across Dorset and BCP. Our approach is guided by two simple rules: anything’s possible, and everyone’s invited.

Our work includes Inside Out Dorset, The Remix inclusive youth company, Dorset Youth Dance, touring four companies across the UK, and a long-standing relationship with National Landscapes, specialising in outdoor arts.

We are members of Outdoor Arts UK, Circostrada and Without Walls, and chair the Dorset Theatre Promoters Consortium.

For creatives, we offer bespoke one-to-one support, sharing our networks and sector knowledge. We also run projects such as Create!, a training programme with b-side and Arts by the Sea Festival for creatives who want to produce arts events.
